There is nothing as exciting as ripping open a packet of seeds and gently placing them under a fine layer of compost. It never fails to raise a smile when, after a sprinkle of water and some gentle heat, you see the first shoots of green appear. I love being outside, and I love my hands in the soil. The bonus at the end of this? Being able to grow a significant amount of the fruit and vegetables that we consume as a family. Throw in a few eggs from the chickens and pop some seasonal cut flowers from the patch into a vase and I`m the happiest girl on earth. It’s lovely to see you here. I hope it inspires you!
